Develop the Dutch CS standards in process, communication, cooperation and response in close cooperation with Country Manager and Group functions in DK.
Welcome to a true Danish transportation fairytale! Back in 1882 the Danish entrepreneur Anders Nielsen founded the company that we today know as Ancotrans, by offering horse powered transport of luggage to and from the ports of Copenhagen. Since then, five generations have led the company toward a global market leader within container road transport. This makes Ancotrans one of Denmark’s oldest family owned and managed companies.
Road transportation of all types of shipping containers has been the primary business activity for more than 50 years. With around 900 trucks and 2000 chassis in daily rotation in Northern Europe, Ancotrans aims to remain the preferred partner to their customers throughout Europe.
Ancotrans NL and the Dutch activities started in 2018 with the office in Rotterdam and has in only a few years become a successful transportation partner to the Dutch market and cross-border. Already employing more than 50 dedicated people they are respected for their attitude and professional services.
The Customer Support Manager position is new to the Dutch Ancotrans business, defined and designed to support the continuing great journey of Ancotrans.
The Dutch customer support of Ancotrans is today handled by a small CS team of three CS Coordinators. They are doing a great job but as the market position of Ancotrans is growing there is a need for next-level CS. The focus is set on defining direction, setup and operational initiatives, yet there is broad and extensive support and experience to find in the CS headquarter function in Denmark.
As Customer Support Manager, you will work closely with the local Dutch team as well as the cross-border Group Teams at other Ancotrans offices. You will head the Dutch CS activities in joined forces with the Country Manager, being the link between customers and Ancotrans’s operations, dispatch and planning.
We expect you to plan, drive & execute all CS activities in Holland, leading the Customer Support team to fulfill the list of service targets in Ancotrans. You must contribute to the great Anco target of selling green transport solutions – paving the way for green transition in collaboration with customers alongside the cross-country Customer Support targets.
Your Profile
Ancotrans is looking for a dedicated transportation professional with a passion for green transport solutions and a solid understanding of the hand-in-hand balance between growing business, operational excellence and Customer Support within transportation.
We expect you to find yourself in a majority of these statements:
- Experience and insight within CS/operations/transport planning in logistics/transport/freight forwarding
- Proven track record/results in building strong customer relations – and have made your first experience in leading or being “The Senior” in CS
- Knowledge of Dutch/European road transport market and operations
- Great business acumen and heart for Customer Support – driven by frequent customer contact and providing the best possible service
- Development oriented, ambitious and a skilled communicator & relationship-builder (both externally and internally)
- Identify with the core values, mission and vision of Ancotrans
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- IT and tech-savvy
